This service never receives, stores, or processes any ROM file.
All ROM handling (validation, patch application, generation of the .bps
patch and the patched .gba file) is performed exclusively
in your browser, locally. No copy of your ROM ever passes through our server.
The server only computes, from a seed and settings (setting string / cosmetics string), a list of bytes to modify in a vanilla ROM. This list is sent back to your browser, which applies it locally to your ROM (which you provide yourself).

You must provide your own legal copy of the game to use this randomizer; the procurement or distribution of ROM images is not part of this service.
This randomizer is built on the open-source project minishmaker/randomizer. The source code for this web interface is available at deoxis9001/WEBRandomizer.
No personal data is collected. The server retains anonymous technical logs (IP address) for abuse protection purposes (rate limiting); these logs are not used for any other purpose and are deleted regularly.
